Surrounded by nature in the countryside just outside Sanluri, L’Oasi Felice degli Animali was created to offer a new chance to animals rescued from abandonment, abuse, and situations of suffering. Here, horses, sheep, goats, and other animals live freely in large natural spaces, able to move and interact according to their own nature, far from exploitation and distress. The sanctuary has become a place of renewal, balance, and respect, where every animal can rediscover serenity and dignity.
The oasis also welcomes dogs rescued from shelters or abandonment, guiding them through trust-based and relationship-centered rehabilitation paths aimed at helping them regain confidence and, whenever possible, find thoughtful and responsible adoptions.
Alongside its rescue activities, the sanctuary offers experiences focused on wellbeing and on strengthening the connection between people, animals, and nature. These include boarding services for dogs and horses in spacious green areas, equine relationship activities for both children and adults, human-dog activities based on a cognitive-relational approach, as well as guided visits and educational experiences designed for schools, groups, and families.
