Navy blue, cerulean, cobalt, azure, cornflower blue, turquoise, cyan, sky blue—more than just a beach with a stunning sea, this place is a living catalogue of every shade of blue nature has to offer.

Mari Pintau, meaning “painted sea,” bears a name that likens this enchanting bay to a work of art—but, luckily for us, you don’t need to be an art critic to appreciate its breathtaking beauty.
After a short walk along the path from the car park, you find yourself in a fragrant jewel set within the Mediterranean scrub, where soft sand blends with small pebbles that gradually disappear into the shallow, sandy seabed.
This spot is famed for the blue of its waters—made even bluer by the recognition awarded by the FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education), which each year grants the prestigious Blue Flag title to the finest coastal destinations in Italy.

Thanks to the many facilities available on the beach, Mari Pintau is the perfect place for anyone looking to invest their time in pure relaxation and sunbathing, enjoying calm, sheltered waters. Snorkelling enthusiasts will discover not only fascinating seabeds but also a huge, partially submerged anchor lying just a few metres from the shoreline.
